We’re proud to introduce you to our comprehensive online course for travel agents who wish to specialize in selling destination weddings, honeymoons, and romantic getaways!
And, this course is now the foundation for creating the travel industry’s most respected certification in romance travel.
The eight-module, 55-lesson course covers all aspects of romance travel – from the basic components of today’s destination wedding and honeymoon bookings and the secrets of working with key client demographics (e.g., Millennials, same-sex couples) to proven techniques for marketing and promoting oneself as a romance travel specialist and resolving common issues that crop up with these clients (e.g., price shoppers and “tire kickers”).
“We’ve designed this online course to help agents who’re new to this niche get started on the right track from the very beginning,” says Lisa Sheldon, DWHSA’s executive director and the owner of I Do Island Weddings in Janesville, Wis. “But, the course will also round out the knowledge of experienced DW/honeymoon specialists who want to sharpen their skills and grow their businesses to the next level.”
The DWHSA online course is completely video-based, split into 55 lessons delivered as streaming videos that you can watch on your desktop computer, your laptop, your tablet devices, or even your smartphone. The lessons is grouped into eight modules, with 16 different homework assignments. Agents will access the course via a password-protected site. Beyond the eight modules, the course also includes bonus materials, checklists, sample forms, and additional tutorials that will help agents in building their romance travel businesses.
The best part? This course is FREE for current DWHSA members!
