We welcome your application to become an Associate Member of DWHSA! As an Associate Member, you’ll receive these membership benefits and services:

Access to DWHSA’s “How to Sell Romance Travel” online course – a collection of more than 50 video-based lessons and more than a dozen homework assignments to help you build your business
Access to DWHSA’s live webinars (conducted twice a week – typically Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 pm to 2 pm Eastern) that focus on leading romance travel destinations, suppliers, and training topics
Access to DWHSA’s video library – the world’s largest collection of romance travel training videos, including recordings of every DWHSA webinar from our February 2013 founding through today
Access to take the exam to earn DWHSA’s basic certification: the “Certified Destination Wedding, Honeymoon, and Romance Travel Specialist” designation (the study materials are free for members – the only fee is a nominal payment for the external independent grading of your exam)

The Associate membership does not include participation in DWHSA’s main Facebook group or in the association’s new consumer marketing programs (e.g., listing yourself in a profile on the RomanceTravelSpecialists.com consumer site). If you do not have a travel industry booking number (ARC/IATAN/CLIA/TRUE) or a web site that's obviously oriented to the sale of destination weddings and honeymoons, please provide the names and phone numbers/email addresses for two (2) suppliers who can verify your activity as a working travel agent.
By completing this DWHSA membership application, you certify that you are engaged as a professional travel agent who is (a) currently selling destination weddings and honeymoons or (b) planning to sell destination weddings and honeymoons along with other types of travel. Also, you certify that your travel business is in compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations and is duly qualified and licensed to do business in each jurisdiction that requires such qualification or licensing. Your membership application is subject to approval by DWHSA management, and your application may be denied with a full dues refund if you cannot demonstrate that you meet DWHSA's membership requirements. DWHSA agent memberships are individual, not business or corporate, memberships. Travel suppliers, destination marketing organizations, and wedding vendors may apply separately for an allied DHWSA membership, but they do not qualify for the primary membership category established for active agents only and may be permanently denied DWHSA membership in any form if they attempt to bypass this rule. Once your application is approved, your DWHSA membership will run for a rolling 12-month period. (For example, if you apply on Feb. 12, and your application is approved Feb. 17, then you will become an official member on Feb. 17, and your membership will continue to run for a full 12 months beginning March 1 and ending Feb. 28/29 the following year.) DWHSA dues are completely nonrefundable, unless your application is denied. DWHSA does not engage in lobbying or political activities, so 100% of your dues may be deductible as a business expense - please check with your tax adviser for complete details. If your application is accepted by DWHSA, you understand and agree that you may be expelled from membership if you reveal any comments, data, or content posted at DWHSA.com, the DWHSA Facebook groups, the DWHSA forum, and all other DWHSA locations.
